place is ran by a scam artist i watched get beat in his office while I was looking to test drive a car!
So I bought a car from these guys for $2739 September 2017. The dealer told me that "all she had to do was change the battery" When we test drove it the brakes had a squeak but it drove well. I went to lunch with a friend then I can back and paid full price for the car. My friend would not let me drive the car unlicensed and uninsured. So, I came back the next day and drove it off the lot. Before I got the car to Myatt Dr., the car began to make a large grinding noise and shiver when braking. The lady at the shop was emphatic about AS IS and I absolutely understand what as is means... you bought it; your problem. So I called my friend and asked him to take it to the mechanic the next day. In the mean time I took it to get an oil change because the oil change light was on. During the oil change the serpentine belt was determined to be bad and the tag brake light was out. With an oil change cost: just over $200. The next day it was determined that my brakes pads and rotors were bad cost: $400. New car inspection at the same mechanic determined 3 new tires needed. 2 were at the lowest level and the third was still drivable but worn $300. I felt lucky that for $900 extra dollars I got a really nice good driving car. 3 weeks later my car started to refuse to go in gear. A week later it was determined that the torque converter had gone out, the a.c. compressor line was leaking + 3 other things needed fixing. Total cost $2200 (reduced from $2600 because they fixed 4 things without asking me and had it for a week before looking at it... all the while assuring me they would look at it "tomorrow". Then it took a week to get it back after they said they would have it done "tomorrow".) So if we are keeping up with this... i bought a car for $2739. I had the car for a month and had put $3100 dollars in to it. 3 months later after having my second oil change, my check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone and they said your catalytic converter is gone. Another $900. If $2739 Is the value of my car... and I have put $4000 into it in 3 months... they sold me a totaled car. Again as is is as is. I get it, but businesses should be required to stand behind a car in some measure. If you are selling things as is do not sell junk to get a dime or a dollar. Don't brag to a non car person that all you had to do is change the battery When there are glaring safety issues (like tires and brakes) that should be a concern for you if I would have wrecked while driving the car off the lot. Even after the transmission failed I didn't write this review... but now going into a 3rd major repair in 3 months I had to write this. People shouldn't treat other people like that. Money. Is too hard to come by
This place is the worst dealer I have ever crossed paths with. They failed to tell me that my car I purchased was rear ended and told me it was completely clean just to find out when I took it in for service that it will cost me over $1000 dollars to get the airbag sensors fixed after my service airbag system came on my dash. I would never refer this place to anyone as I am an honest person and Kim that works there is clearly not. She was very nice but lied straight to my face with no hesitation!
I drove up to 24/7 auto sales from 4 hours away in Georgia. I Explained how far I was coming from and was told over the phone by Kim the 2012 F150 I was looking at was in good condition inside and out. I Got there to find pieces of the truck falling off, nuts and bolts missing holding on body panels, driver mirror hanging on by a thread, interior stained and smokey, etc... Since I was already up there I took it for a test drive and problems started right off the bat. The other cars on this lot all looked like they had seen better days as well. I wasted a whole Friday for nothing because of these people. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.
The place deals exclusively in salvage cars, they may not be a branded title yet but they will be, you don't get the title until you've had it a whole week. They're nice enough, but they're not upfront about safety issues without asking: deployed airbags repaired by people no Buick dealership has ever heard of, all but one tire was bald or about to be. If you're desperately looking for a nice cheap car and can take a safety gamble, go for it. Otherwise go for an auto broker like at Auto Pro on South side.
